Natural Child's Crib Mattress Topper

  • Baby's best sleep begins with an all-natural sleep surface. Our quilted mattress topper creates the perfect sleep environment for your little one. Handmade using organic cotton sateen filled with lofty Premium Eco Wool batting, hand tufted so the wool stays in place.

The crib topper provides a cozy, breathable sleep surface that naturally regulates body temperature and wicks away moisture. Wool is naturally hypoallergenic, dust-mite resistant, anti-microbial and anti-bacterial, and inherently fire resistant. In addition, sleeping on a natural surface has also been shown to lower heart rate, resulting in a deeper, more restful sleep.

Designed to work with any crib mattress, the topper includes sturdy cotton elastic straps sewn at the corners so the topper stays securely in place on the mattress. Recommended for infants over 3 months of age.

  • We only use organic cotton, natural and organic wool, or all-natural latex. Everything that goes in to making every Holy Lamb product comes to us from nature. You won't find synthetic materials or chemical additives in anything we create. This Topper is made using our 100% organic cotton fabric and filled with our Premium Eco Wool.

Our cotton is grown in India, then milled and finished in a GOTS-certified facility in Pakistan. Never bleached or dyed, our fabric is naturally soft and durable - And it's all certified 100% organic.

We offer a pristine natural wool sourced from a co-op of small sheep farmers in the western US, and a GOTS-certified organic option from New Zealand. None of our wool is ever carbonized or bleached, and sheep dipping is never practiced.

  • CARE

Sunning your topper periodically will keep it refreshed and revitalize the wool. Spot clean according to our care instructions for as long as possible to extend the life of your topper.

In the case of large spills, the Crib Topper can be machined washed in cold water. Manually set to soak and spin cycles only. Do not use the wash cycle, which agitates and can ruin your topper.

For stained items, add a dose of live cultured enzymes (such as Bac-Out by Biokleen) during soak. Drape in the sun or warm place to dry. Do not wring or machine dry. Please keep in mind that machine washing can change the feeling of the topper to an extent.

There is a natural compression of the wool during the first few weeks of use, of 15%-20%. This is due to the felting process of the wool and will settle after the initial break-in period. For even wear and optimum comfort, we recommend alternately flipping (turning over) and rotating (head to foot) the topper periodically. Do this once a week for the first few months, then every few months as needed.

The scent of wool - Our wool, both natural and organic, is cleaned and processed naturally without the use of harsh chemicals. That's why you may notice the mild sweet scent of sunny farm pastures when you receive your new wool product. The wool retains 1% of the naturally occurring lanolin oil, which helps condition the fibers and keep them fluffy and soft for years to come. Most customers find the scent dissipates within a few days.

To preserve and extend the life of your quilted topper, try our Moisture Barriers and Puddle Pads for extra protection.

Great product

We got the crib mattress topper and it is great quality and very soft! It hasn't changed our toddlers sleep habits like we were hoping for, but it makes her crib much more comfortable. I especially love that it is natural and we don't have to worry about any chemicals or weird ingredients.

Love this product!

This is my second crib mattress topper, custom cut size, from Holy Lamb Organics and I am thrilled with it. The package comes beautifully and carefully wrapped and the mattress topper itself is great quality. The custom sizing works perfectly and ordering is such an easy process. Each time I've ordered, I reached out to customer service via email and have always received a very prompt, helpful response. The products are not inexpensive, but the product and process makes it worth the cost and keeps me coming back.

in love

Kimberly VanDerbeek referred Holy lamb organics! and I bought the crib size topper. I love it. the 1st night my 10 month old slept through the night without any wakings. Its extremely soft and comfortable. We had a few formula leaks on it, all I do is dab some hydrogen peroxide on it and lay it outside to sun dry it. the stains immediately lift and disappear. Its amazing! I will be ordering the puddle pad next, which is water proof. definitely worth the investment.
