Which pillow is right for me?
Everyone's body has different comfort needs and preferences, so choosing a pillow takes some thought. Think about how you get your best rest - whether you're a side, back, stomach, or sprawled-across-the-bed sleeper. Proper neck support is important too. Let’s go through the options.
Sleep on your side or back? You'll probably prefer a thicker, fluffier, pillow. Our Wool Bed Pillow in regular or extra thick is a good choice. Also, the Woolly Down. This zippered pillow can be adjusted to your exact preference, including the addition of extra puffs, which we offer in 3- and 6-oz. quantities. Or consider the luxurious wool-wrapped latex pillow, thick and cushiony soft. Whichever you choose, they're all great for propping yourself up in bed for reading or watching TV.
Sleep on your stomach? You'll want a lighter, flatter pillow. Consider the light version of the Wool Bed Pillow, or remove some puffs from the adjustable Woolly Down to get it just right.
Is neck support a priority? We offer two good options. The Neck Roll provides just the right amount of support and comfort. Use it on its own or in combination with your regular bed pillow. Our Orthopedic Neck Pillow expands on the neck roll concept. It has a bolster along each side, one stuffed slightly more than the other, so you can choose the exact amount of support you need.
A note about pillow compression
Wool-wrapped latex compresses very little, as the latex core maintains its size and shape. Pillows made solely with wool batting, like our Wool Bed Pillow, will settle within the first few months of regular use as they conform to the weight of your head. This is normal and happens to the best of pillows. If you’re concerned about compression or are unsure which pillow thickness will suit you best, we recommend the Woolly Down. It won’t compress as much, and you can easily unzip and refluff it as needed.

Our wool bedding products might require a little more TLC when laundry time comes, but it’s worth it to retain all the natural goodness of pure untreated wool.
