Experience an upgrade to the traditional spring mattress. This favorite is made of recycled steel springs and a thick wrap of premium eco wool. Chemical- and fire-retardant free, glueless, and guaranteed.Simple ingredients make this great mattress a cut above the ordinary. Made by WJ Southard, the core consists of an industry-standard offset coil system made with 95%-recycled steel. It’s topped with thick layers of organic cotton batting and a layer of fire-retardant wool quilted into an organic cotton encasement. Wool is a natural temperature regulator, wicking moisture away. Made in the US with all-natural raw materials. No glues or chemicals of any kind are used to create this mattress.This mattress is the Archetype Tight Top, which has a firm feel. Also available in a pillow top version.

Absolutely perfect

I bought this mattress a year ago, after a lot of research. I was looking for non toxic, eco friendly, firm and flippable. It’s very sturdy and the workmanship is top quality. I combined the mattress with a latex topper, also from holy lamb, and every night I can’t wait to get into bed. It smelled like wool when it arrived, not chemicals or plastic, which I loved. The smell faded over time but the mattress is still wonderful. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

I was looking for a two sided mattress with no junk in it- no foam, chemicals, etc. this mattress fit the bill. It arrived sooner than expected, and it was firm but comfortable immediately. I like it so much more than my old foam mattress. Much more support but with enough padding on top.beautifully made - I expect it will last a very long time.
One issue is that there is only delivery and no removal of the old mattress-

The mattress is wonderfully comfortable and very sturdily constructed. It is perfectly firm, and helped alleviate a stiff neck and back caused by an older mattress we were sleeping on. I really appreciate that I am not sleeping with chemicals, and the faint woolly smell was very soothing (though the scent disappeared after the first week). I can’t speak to its longevity because we have only had it for a few weeks, but it arrived earlier than predicted, which was nice. We are thrilled with our choice!
