    Product Care

Sunning your comforter periodically will keep it refreshed and revitalize the wool. Spot clean as needed. Treat stains by soaking area with hydrogen peroxide (note, this may cause lightening of fabric).

Can be machined washed in cold water. Manually set to soak and spin cycles only. Do not use the wash cycle, which agitates and can ruin your comforter. For stained items, add a dose of live cultured enzymes (such as Bac-Out by Biokleen) during soak. Drape in the sun or warm place to dry. Do not wring or machine dry.

Our comforter care video will guide you through a few simple steps that will keep your wool bedding feeling soft and cozy for years to come. Place in a washable duvet cover for extra protection.

The scent of wool - Our wool, both natural and organic, is cleaned and processed naturally without the use of harsh chemicals. That's why you may notice the mild sweet scent of sunny farm pastures when you receive your new wool product. The wool retains 1% of the naturally occurring lanolin oil, which helps condition the fibers and keep them fluffy and soft for years to come. Most customers find the scent dissipates within a few days.

Please read our Product Care Page for more details.

    The perfect toddler comforter

My 2 year old loves cuddling up underneath this comforter. It is soft and warm and keeps him covered all night long. I was so impressed by the quality of this product and loved the plastic-free shipping. The rest of the family sleeps under down duvets, but I am increasingly turning to wool. My son seems to appreciate the weight and feel of wool (the cover is so soft!) and it does a great job at regulating temperature.

Wool does a terrific job of keeping you warm in the winter and is a superstar fiber when it comes to moisture wicking. It’s why wool is our go-to option when it’s time to bundle up for colder weather. The basic science is simple: wool fibers absorb moisture and release it into the air.
