All-Natural Wool Moisture Barrier

  • Our 100% natural moisture barrier is created without fillers or additives, making this woven wool textile the perfect chemical-free solution for mattress and topper protection.

The wool is tightly woven and slightly felted, resulting in a naturally water repellent fabric that's a healthy and eco-friendly alternative to synthetic products. The great thing is that it gets even more water repellant as it's washed!

The moisture barrier is designed to lay atop your mattress or topper and beneath a fitted sheet. We offer a size to fit any bed. For the little ones, our Puddle Pads are an essential item for crib, bassinet, and changing table.

Please allow a lead time of up to 1 week for production.

This product ships in a sturdy cardboard box secured with paper tape. We don't use plastic wrap or synthetic packing materials in the box. If you'd like a little extra protection, you can request your product be placed inside a biodegradable bag before boxing.

Wool Protection....

I really appreciated having a natural protection for our investment. Does not interfere with comfort of our wool pillow top.

Nice and soft, but...

Generally happy with the product, the wool is nice and soft, and does what we wanted to help us sleep a bit cooler. But sheep do end up with bits of vegetation in their fleece, and however the wool for this protector was processed, some small bits of that vegetation ended up woven into it. The website photos show this a little bit if you look closely, but I suspect the average protector has more plant bits than the ones in the pictures.
For the most part, it's not really noticeable, but we have found a few "splinters" that poked through the sheets enough to feel them. Running our hands across the bare protector, we've found several. It's mostly fine, but I do feel this was kind of expensive if we have to deal with any pokey plant bits. Maybe over time, and after a wash or two, they'll work themselves out.

Everyone Deserves a Good Night's Sleep!

We've had our first Wool Moisture Barrier for ten years now and love it. When I recently took it off the bed to clean and air dry overnight, I realized how wonderfully temperature regulating it had been all along. Bought a second one for the guest room, because sometimes my spouse or I are relocated there due to sickness (or snoring - LOL) and everyone deserves a good night's sleep!

Wonderful product

Keeps the mattress protected, while keeping the body temperature regulated. I love it. As is the case with all Holy Lamb products. Highly recommended.
