This product is made with the following raw materials:
Organic Cotton Fabric
All of the cotton fiber used conforms to the USDA Organic certification. It was a conscious choice to use only organically grown cotton in order to reduce the use of hazardous pesticides and fertilizers while providing you with the softest and highest-quality cotton available.
Support organic cotton farming by purchasing certified-organic fiber. Nearly all of the manufacturers of our cotton items are certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS.) However, due to the limited number of GOTS-certified suppliers, unique items like the Cozy Blanket are certified to the OEK0-TEX standard. Both certifications are designed to limit the use of hazardous chemicals and dyes in the production process.
- Made of 100% certified organic cotton
- GOTS and OEK0-TEX certified
- Grown and woven in India, Turkey, Germany or Portugal
Natural Flax Linen
Flax is one of the oldest plants cultivated for fiber. Its long thin fibers are used to produce linen threads that are stronger but less flexible than cotton.
Linen has a stiffer, more textured feel than cotton and is known for providing coolness and freshness in warm weather. It also has a soft brown natural tone, which adds subtle color while matching just about anything.
Fiber standards: Linen is made from flax, an extremely hearty plant that grows with minimal fertilizers and pesticides—or none at all—making it nearly organic by nature. For that reason, there is very little certified-organic flax. The flax is sourced from France and Belgium, countries with a long tradition of growing flax according to the strong environmental standards set forth by the European Union.
- Made of natural linen flax
- Grown and woven in Belgium and France
- 100% certified organic cotton fabric
- Cotton sourced and woven in India
- Cotton: 300 thread count
- Flax grown in Belgium and France, made in India
- Low-impact non-toxic dyes

Certifications & Testing
Green America - Gold Certified Business since 2007
Green America is a national, non-profit founded in 1982. (They went by the name "Co-op America" until 2009). America's Green Business Certification ensures companies operate according to a “values-based” social enterprise according to principles of social justice and environmental sustainability. In addition, certified businesses must be environmentally responsible in the way they run their operations and facilities, and in how they source raw materials, manufacture products, and market them. The Gold certification is completed by the Green America Standards Committee through an independent review.
Holy Lamb Organics holds the Gold Certification
The IOAS is a non-profit certification organization dedicated to the integrity of eco label claims in the field of organic and sustainable agriculture, environmental management, social justice and fair trade.
They work internationally to assess the competence of organizations providing certification to "sustainability" standards, meaning producers can work in a fair environment and consumers can trust the products bearing these labels and the company's contribution to a more sustainable and fairer world.
IAOS's role is as an independent technical expert. It verifies correct application of the standard and the requirements for certification.
All COTTON used at Holy Lamb Organics is IOAS certified.
Eco Wool is produced to the highest standards on local American farms; some of these standards are beyond those specified for organic materials. Eco Wool is not certified organic. At this time very little organic wool is available on the market; almost no organic wool is grown in the United States.
We have access to organic wool from New Zealand that is pure and clean, though due to it being only one type of wool, it doesn’t offer the kind of resilience or bounce that our Premium Eco Wool™ does. Our Eco Wool is a blend of about 7 different types of wool varying from fine to coarse in order to create the most ideal wool fiber for use in bedding.
Our WOOL is Premium Eco-Wool™ .

All of our raw materials at Holy Lamb Organics are required by law to pass a specific Phthalates test (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act CPSIA of 2008). The tests are regularly conducted by this agency.

"We are extremely happy with our cotton flannel sheets. I wouldn't have believed it without experiencing it, but they keep getting softer and more comfortable with each washing. We chose Holy Lamb Organics because we believe in using all-natural products whenever possible, and in buying from locally owned and operated businesses. Holy Lamb organics offered the best products at a great price. I am looking forward to trying additional Holy Lamb Organics products."
"Going to bed is dream in itself! I am astounded at how worthwhile the expenditures have been to get our bed in the healthiest shape we could after years of discomfort, and groggy, painful mornings. The duvet cover is exactly what I was hoping for, undyed, unbleached, breathing, feel surrounded by nature, and very quiet on the eyes! The fabric feels to the body as if it gives energy back- like there is a real relationship (which of course, if we could only understand it, there is!) between the cotton, the flax and the health giving systems in our bodies that is friendly, that encourages a resetting of the bodily systems that provide us with the sense of rejuvenation and revitalization; rest is more peaceful, more renewing. The effect of these fabrics on our living environment, esthetically and experientially, encourage us to get rid of every synthetic thing in the house and closet."
“You have quality products at reasonable prices, given the care taken in sourcing the materials and products (those that you don't make yourselves). The store is beautiful, the people are helpful...a great experience from start to finish!”
