This mattress is handmade in Northern California by good friends of Holy Lamb Organics utilizing wool from small West Coast Sheep Farmers. The core is made with 100% Premium Eco-Wool batting amd covered with 100% organic wool encasement made with a fine micron wool (that means it's not scratchy), creating a firm ,4" thick, tightly tufted mattress. Wool does not ignite, it actually is a natural fire retardant barrier making it possible for this mattress to contain zero fire retardant chemicals. This mattress is made with lots of love!
