SPECIFICATIONS

Materials & Wood Core: Handmade by skilled cabinet makers in Upstate New York using Canadian Spruce wood. No glues are used. 17 slats for Queen & King Sizes and 15 slats for Twin & Full sizes. Made with Premium Eco-Wool (grown OR, milled Northern CA) , Organic Cotton fabric and batting (grown TX, woven Carolinas).

Encasement: 3 lbs. of Eco-Wool (based on a queen size) & quilted with an organic cotton fabric cover.

Feel: A foundation provides a supportive wooden surface for your mattress. It will not add softness to the feel of the mattress the way box spring will. Instead, use a foundation to create the desired height for your bed. The inner foundation is comprised of wooden slats which will provide the breathability your mattress needs (versus putting your mattress on a solid surface), as well as the support required.

Foundation Heights: Choose from approximately 8" Standard height or the Low Profile 3" foundation.

Naturally Fire Retardant: The wool that surrounds the foundation makes it naturally fire retardant and enables it to pass all of the fire tests. No fire retardant chemicals are ever used in any of our mattresses, box springs or foundations.

Split Sizes: You have the option of ordering a split Queen which will come in 2 pieces, making it easy to move the rigid foundation in and out of doorways. Kings and California Kings always come split.

Made Exclusively for our Spring & Latex Mattresses: Please also note that this foundation is made for the latex & spring mattresses sold by Holy Lamb Organics and will not be sold independently or for use with the All Wool Mattress.
