Wood Core: Handmade by skilled cabinet makers in Upstate New York using Canadian Spruce wood. No glues are used, 15 slats with a center support.

Encasement: 3 lbs. of Eco-Wool (based on a queen size) & quilted with an organic cotton fabric cover.

Feel: A foundation provides a supportive wooden surface for your mattress. It will not add softness to the feel of the mattress the way a Box Spring will. Instead, use a foundation to create the desired height for your bed. The foundation will provide the breathability your mattress needs (versus putting your mattress on a solid surface), as well as the support reuquired.

Foundation Height: Approximately 8". Also available in a low-profile of 3" upon request.

Naturally Fire Retardant: The wool that surrounds the foundation makes it naturally fire retardant and enables it to pass all of the fire tests. No fire retardant chemicals are ever used in any of our mattresses, box springs or foundations.

Other Notes: King size comes as two pieces, making it easy to move the rigid foundation in and out of doorways for setting up. This option is also available in the Queen size upon request. Please also note that this foundation is made for the latex & spring mattresses sold by Holy Lamb Organics and will not be sold independently or for use with the All Wool Mattress.

Shipping: FREE if the mattress, box spring or foundation is delivered to our showroom at Holy Lamb Organics in Oakville, WA. If you are out of the area or prefer it delivered directly to your doorstep there will be an additional $200 fee for the first mattress/box spring/foundation, and an additional $25 per each additional. These fees, if applicable, will be billed later.
